THE HOSPITAL
The Hospital was founded in the 1950s by Prof. Umberto Nobili, a well-known surgeon from Bologna. It progressively changed and expanded, and today has become a major multi-speciality hospital of excellence.
HEALTHCARE PROVISION
The facility has 86 hospital beds for diagnosis and treatment. It offers regular and emergency hospitalisation, day-hospital and day-surgery, and is structured in Functional Units and Healthcare Support Services.

The Nursing Home’s activities can be summarized as follows

- 1.400 surgical procedures 70% of which in day-surgery
- 700 outpatient surgical procedures
- 37.000 specialist outpatient services
- 4.500 admissions to the Emergency Room
- 700 emergency ambulance services
