The Fides Group (GHC) of Genoa is the winner of the 2nd edition of the Raffaele Garofalo Award for Sustainability 2023, with a project aimed at creating an "open socio-health residence" or a home care service in the area, in synergy with family doctors and local social workers and complementary to the original residential activity.
The Fides Group is in fact one of the main healthcare companies in Liguria, present with 11 structures in the Genoa area and its province and operates in particular in the field of care and rehabilitation of elderly people and in the treatment of a wide variety of psychiatric diseases.
The award ceremony took place during the commemoration event on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the passing of Prof. Raffaele Garofalo, which included a series of speeches on the topic of sustainability, such as that of Dr. Francesca Brusco, President of the Committee Control, Risks and Sustainability, by Prof. Oscar Maleti, President of the Group Scientific Committee and by Dr. Domenico Scibetta, President of the Board of Directors of the Villa Garda Nursing Home which won the first edition last year.
At the beginning some exciting moments with anecdotes and personal memories of the figure of Prof. Raffaele Garofalo by Alessandro M. Rinaldi, Mariano Garofalo and Raffaele Rinaldi Garofalo.
