The healthcare activity is carried out under ordinary, urgent and scheduled hospitalization and/or day hospitalization (day hospital/day surgery).

As the headquarters of the first level "DEA" ("Emergency and Reception Department"), it guarantees emergency functions, has a helipad also enabled for night use and operational 24 hours a day and is part of the Lazio Region's Emergency Network.

On detail, the Aurelia Hospital provides services (visits and medical interventions aimed at secondary and tertiary prevention, diagnosis, care and therapy, rehabilitation, diagnostic and instrumental tests, nursing care) aimed at treating pathological conditions that cannot be deferred (emergency - urgency) and acute pathologies.

Therefore, those that require long-term diagnostic-therapeutic treatment are not included among the pathological conditions treated by the operating structures of the nursing home, except for the post-acute phase.

The services aimed at treating pathological conditions that cannot be deferred (emergency - urgency) and acute pathologies are carried out compatibly with the level of technological equipment:

• in the form of emergency and/or urgent treatment and/or hospitalization (emergency line);
• in the form of scheduled hospitalization and day hospitalization (line of choice);
• in the form of outpatient treatment (outpatient line);
• in the form of compulsory health treatment.
